People sometimes don't realize that the historic town of Santa Fe is nestled at the base of the Sangre de Cristo mountains at 7,000 feet. So the summer months average from 70 to 85 degrees in the day and drop to 55 degrees at night.  Fall is also lovely with trees changing colors in town and aspen groves in the mountains just 15 minutes away.  And it snows in town and on the ski hill 30 minutes up the mountain.
